Lest we forget

After a brief trip to the Bayeux Tapestry (which isn't a tapestry at all but an embroidery but there's another tale) we walked up to the Bayeux War Cemetary. There are over 4000 graves of both Allied and German Soldiers from WW2. Very moving, extremely humbling.

While we were there, there was rioting back in the UK. Some people don't know they're born.
