Window Gazing

Fairly productive day today.

Finlay was back to nursery so Susie, Brody and I went to Costco to stock up on essentials (bog roll etc.). We managed to even avoid buying the obligatory massive tub of sweets! We also went to B&Q to buy a drill so that I could spend the afternoon putting up shelves in Finlay's bedroom. Susie seems to think I'm useless at DIY but the shelves went up with only a couple of superfluous holes in the wall. They even stayed up when the books went on! Nothing better than the feeling of satisfaction of using power tools to actually do something constructive.

Finlay seemed pretty impressed when he got home (in between staring out the window).
