BlipaEwan 44...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

This month we've been trying to help Ewan learn to ride his bike. His own bike is a fixie which means if he pedals backwards, it goes backwards as opposed to a standard bike that free wheels if you're moving and not pedalling. I decided to move him onto Bethany's standard pedalling Dora bike in a bid to get him used to how a bike should feel. We've set him up on the Dora bike with stabilisers giving him a wee bit of wobble to get introduce the balance. We've had him off the stabilisers a couple of times but funnily, he's not keen on it at all and only lasts a couple of minutes before asking for the stabilisers back on.

Ewan is still not completely out of the dry night woods. He is very good at going to the toilet during the day but we need to do tactical tinkles both just before he goes to bed and just before we go to bed.
