Miss you x

I haven't had the greatest of days and the last thing on my mind was taking a photo. I think this photo helps sum up my day though.

It's not my birthday, but if my dad were alive it would be his 71st birthday today. This is what he wrote in my card for my 18th and is one of the last things that I have from him. He's been gone 19 years and most of the time I cope with the fact that he is not here and carry on as usual. This week though I have both his birthday and the anniversary of his death, so it's always tough.

As always my husband and kids have been brilliant, dad would have been so proud of his grandchildren.

I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow, but I'm dreading Friday. Please accept my apologies for a depressing write up.
