Messing about on the river.

This is a view of the River Hamble looking towards Hamble Point where it joins the Southampton Water - I have never seen so many yachts in the mouth of the river!
There is a saying about Hamble people being described as 'the haves - and the have yachts'

Busy day today - baked a load of cakes for the Royal Southern Yacht Club, delivered them then had a walk down by the river to take some photos, then this evening I was running a fundraising skittles evening for MIND. Great fun had by all but exhausted now. Had a phone call during the evening from the Yacht Club to say they need more cakes for tomorrow lunchtime!! Mustn't complain!
