#workingboy
For today's picture, I chose my name tag. I work at the local Waldbaum's as a "dairy packer," which just means that I pack the dairy and make sure that every self-indulgent old person in the area gets their milk, cheese or eggs. Sometimes, it's all three.

I took it on this neat little hanger-like thing I use for my clothes. It is more for formal-wear, but I usually hang the shirt I have pre-ironed where dress pants would go.

The title of today's entry has a bit of a "special" meaning. It's a hashtag, like on Twitter. It started when my friend, Tori, got a job at Walgreens, and we jokingly called her the "working girl." So, I started the hashtag "#workinggirl," for anytime any of our friends mentioned her. When I got a job, naturally, it became "#workingboy"

For today's song, I chose "Leeds United," by Amanda Palmer. She is a LOVELY artist, and I enjoy her work. "Leeds United" is such a fun song and has a lot of references to varying things, if you look at the lyrics carefully.

Today was another, great day. After a long and grueling day at work, I came home to find out I was invited to travel the "heart of Europe," as one friend put it. It's through a company called "People to People," and you get nominated by the teachers in the school who are a part of the organization. It is a big honor, apparently, because no where near everyone gets picked. I hope it is not too pricey, because to travel through exotic places like Italy and Switzerland have always been a dream of mine.
