The Lollies Must Get Through!!
This was the worst day's weather of our holiday, but we still got out for a walk. We knew the high tide would flood the marsh road, so ambled along the embankment to the beach to watch the choas. As you can see, we weren't disappointed!
In the background you can just see the boats moored at Brancaster Staithe. Everything in front of them is usually green marsh, except for a couple of days a month when the tide is really high. As well as the delivery van, kayaks and dinghys sailed where usually only birds graze.
