Cape Tribulation

A few hours up the road is Cape Tribulation, the most northerly point on our Australian road trip. Any further north and we'd need a 4x4 as the roads are unsealed from this point.

Our campsite was in the middle of one of the oldest rain forests in the world. We watched a monitor lizard for about 30 minutes. It must have been about 4 foot long.

Here's the beach. It's our last look at the ocean until we've made it through the outback, another 3000km away.
