Red Hot Pokers

Noticed these striking flowers in the garden of The Sensory Centre (which provides a range of services for anyone with sensory impairment).

I was picking up my eldest daughter and her friend from the local swimming pool (Mariner) Leisure Centre next door.

Managed to take this shot through the wire fence, which surrounded the garden. So I wasn't sure how it would turn out till we got home and uploaded it onto my computer.
