A little bit of Scotland

When I was a child, every year on our summer holiday to Scotland, Mum would pick some heather - her little bit of Scotland - and it was stuck into a piece of potato and put in a vase on our mantelpiece until the following year. Even although she has been back living in Scotland for over 30 years she still does this and today we went back to the moor (see yesterday's blip) to collect the heather for this year.
