Sticky beak...

... Seeds? Where?

This young green finch has (like Shirley Hughes' 'Tiger who Came To Tea') eaten ALL the seed on the feeder and ALL the food on the bird table!
I haven't seeen any parents but it's certainly a hungry chick.
And it's not too worried about me being close-up, so I hope it's still here tomorrow!

I'm attempting a bit of a massive tidy-up.
We have delightful visitors coming for the weekend, that's the good news.

The bad news is that I have all the energy of a bit of wet string.

Usually we work as a team, and if one of us is tired or unwell, the other one takes over. However, Himself seems to be fighting off something too.

We've decided to let it have its fling today, and be New People tomorrow :-)
How long can it take to tidy up anyway?
They're coming to see US not the house anyway, right?
