Xander at the Market

I hate to talk about the weather, but today was one of those days where you step outside and your body is instantly revitalized by the perfectly warm, perfectly sunny, windless day. By sheer coincidence (from my point of view; probably more like ignorance of the careful planning of others) we happened to have chosen this day for a picnic in Hackney with an old friend of my wife's from Canada, her husband, and their two young children. Before the picnic, we went to Broadway Market to get some food (mostly veggie pastries and the world's smallest cupcakes for desert). It was, as you can imagine on the most perfect day in London so far, quite crowded.
