My Parrot

May I introduce you to Jessie, Jessie is my red lored amazon parrot, she is 12yrs old and we have had her since she was 10 weeks old. The average lifespan of this breed of parrot is 75yrs!

I refer to Jessie as she but don't really know what sex she is, hence the unisex name. Jessie has bonded with me only, I can hold her and cuddle her, scratch her head if she feels like it, if she don't then she bites!
Jessie has vibrant colours of green, yellow, red and blue.

She don't speak very well really which is surprising seeing as I chat to her lots. But strangely enough she barks, Weird bird! like me I suppose :-)
