Acqua Village - Cecina

People in Northern Europe, check out this blue sky! Another fabulous day here in Tuscany.

We went to Cecina, where Acqua Village is located. It took us almost an hour and a half to get there but it was worth it! Several swimming pools, lots of slides and as a bonus there was free WiFi, so I could get some news from The Netherlands and also check Blipfoto of course. Thank you for your comments on my first blip from Tuscany, taken August 8th.

In this photo, taken by Martine, you can see Inge clutching the tail of the parrot. In the background, with very white legs and striped shirt, you can see yours truly. To my right and partially hidden is Ellis.

It was very easy recognizing the Dutch people in Acqua Village: we are the ones without tan and with lots of mosquito bite marks. Sure enough, whenever we saw someone who fits this description we could here them speaking Dutch :-)

Later, when the girls were sleeping, Mark came over for a visit. Must be weird being a guest in your own house... Lots of fun with good conversation and Italian wine and beer. Thank you Mark, not just for this visit but also for all your help while we are staying at the Mulinetto!
