California via Conwy

Had this lovely blonde ale in the State Bar tonight. Called California (after the fruit producing state I presume) it actually comes from Conwy in Wales.

Later I drooled over the Great British Bake Off on TV, despite having just finished a steak dinner. I really shouldn't watch cookery programmes after tea, it just makes me hungry again.

I wonder if we have any ice-cream left...
