The Wind In The Willows

We always visit the amazing Seven Stories when in Newcastle.

I love seeing the original drafts by great authors of children's fiction; Dahl, Kerr, Child etc.

This year there were two exhibitions. The Puffin story and an exhibition of Anthony Browne who I love; 'My Dad' and 'My Mum' have passed many an evening.

Any guesses what the first Puffin book was?

This poster was tucked away in a corner. The whole of TWITW in one poster set round a reverse silhouette. Very clever.
