A very impressive chandelier - I have to say looking down from the 2nd floor later it was one of those glandular moments which would only affect guys ;-> somehow the chain all the way down the stairwell made the whole affect somewhat vertiginous (I thought vertigous was a word which would have fitted - but can't seem to find it, so must have made it up!)
