Big Bang

As is often the case after the rain, woke to lower temperatures, lower humidity and baby blue skies. So took a walk round Canning Park and down to City Hall before catching the MRT to work this morning. I expected to blip St Andrew's Kirk or the Old Hill Street Police Station; instead I went with the serendipitous option.

I had never been in the courtyard of the Old Hill Street Police Station (now the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts) so had never seen this piece of bronze before. A catholic brother sculpting an intricate spiral capturing the planets, DNA, eternal life and a continuous universe was the type of thing my brain needs to get going first thing in the morning.

Taking Jack to see Harry Potter after work was the type of thing my brain needs to switch off last thing at night.....
