Rock of ages

I took a shortcut through the cemetery on my way home this morning and I was drawn to this headstone. Almost everything else carved into it was worn beyond recognition, but I could read the date from a ways back. I ended up climbing a really steep hill to check it out. Im still amazed at how detailed a lot of headstones were, I wonder if that's a career path that'd be good for me - headstone design & fabrication - im gonna go look into it
