On the 4th of July 2008, the ASI unveiled the world's first major public monument to Adam Smith.
The statue stands outside St Giles Cathedral on the High Street, known as the Royal Mile. From this commanding site, Adam stares down the hill towards Holyrood and the Scottish Parliament.
