Taken in bright sunlight but shaded under the trees, this is not the best. Sorry. Must experiment more with the various camera settings.
The deer in "our" wood are a mixed bunch. Some, the visitors, bolt as soon as they see you but the regulars often hang about to see what is going on. Usually, they do a runner if you produce a camera but this lady just stood there as if to say "Ok, Mr De Mille, I'm ready for my close-up now".
Sadly, I had only my pocket camera, having left the Canon with its long lens at home because I was fed up dragging the thing round and never seeing anything worthwhile. Bloody typical!
