Going Underground

Went caving today for the first time at the knockan cave system, Assynt at Inchnadamph. I almost chickened out but I'm so glad I manned up and went along with the boys.

It was absolutely amazing! Although there was a lot of crawling on your belly through cramped muddy tunnels it was totally worth it for the massive caverns and underground waterfalls. We were down there for a few hours and must have covered a mile or two of caves and tunnels.

Took our crappiest camera and kept it a drybag which was lucky as it got accidentally dropped in the underground river at one point.
We didn't get many good shots in the dark but this is an interesting image with the waterfall and light from the headtorches.
