Field of Poppies

Summer Poppies (Kallstroemia grandiflora) are springing up along the roadways. They bloom from July after the monsoon rains until October. They are a native wildflower only in Southern Arizona, Western Texax, and Northern Mexico. Pretty little flower but if you pick them they soon wilt.
