Our Builders

After work this afternoon the construction team that had built the house we are now renting came for a small party (they have been continuing to build the large house nearby from which we were bought out--the series following the story is here, with some two dozen blips). They had great fun checking out the house--now almost completely furnished.

These are the three key guys--as nice and as competent as they could possibly be. They and their two bosses told us that among all the many dozens of building projects that they have done, many clients said they would invite them over at the end, but that we were the first to have actually done so. We had a wonderful time.

They arrived with Guinness plastic goblets such as the one you see here, with lager from a previous reception across the street, and then strictly drank Budweiser. I gave each of them a CD including over 200 images of the entire project (including the series linked to above). I have found the project absolutely fascinating and am delighted to share my shots with them.
