Three go on a banana boat

A day off from Edinburgh Fringe reviewing, we headed up to Elie Beach today for some fun on the water.

We were on the way to Morton of Pitmilly where we'd been invited to a TweetUp to celebrate 21 years of their self-catering holiday home business. It was good to meet lots of people who had been until then merely little snippets of conversation via Twitter to me.

We had a wonderful tour round the grounds of the property, where they've planted 10,000 trees as part of a millennium project, and where a new indoor tennis facility has been opened, with 6 more properties in construction. Great to see a business doing so much to encourage their visitors to return again and again.

We're in our 20th year of self-catering at Sandcastle Cottage, so will have to think of some way of celebrating when we reach 21. Pity I won't be able to plant 10,000 trees nor build a tennis court in our wee garden.
