Composite Moon

This was taken using a 8" Reflector telescope, Philips SPC880 CCD webcam and Microsoft Image Composite Editor to stitch it all together.

Really good night observing and I am very happy with the resulting blip, I was also able to stream footage live to ustream (just a test really) so a few online friends logged in was able to see a view through my telescope live! How exciting is that?!?!?

And just as we were taking everything back inside I noticed that Jupiter had risen high enough to get over the buildings, so quickly set the scope back up and was able to get a damn good view of Jupiter and it's moons.
