Bakewell News

Here is the news.
At 10 0'clock this morning a meeting was held at the Peak Park offices concerning the proliferation of A boards in Bakewell.
Wonder why that was held as you can see from the picture I think there doesn't appear to be many about at all and the ones that are here do seem to add to the character of the town.
Further News.
Just visible in the background on the left hand side of the picture you can see a much loved traffic warden. Only minutes after this picture was taken a ticket appeared on a long time residents car.
His crime?
He had been unable to park entirely inside the space of a designated street parking bay (his car not interfering with traffic flow) as the person parked above him had parked badly and into his parking bay.
This happens a lot at the 2 car 2 hour parking bay in North Church street and it seems a bit unfair with the restricted parking to penalise only one of the cars for this.
A very grey area.
