Zambia Day#12

Goodbye Livingstone.

Bananablip and Happyframe boarding our little plane which was to take us from Livingstone to Lusaka on the first leg of our journey back to Ndola.

We had a great seat on this flight. Just one (empty) seat between us and the flight deck, so were able to see everything that was going on from take off to rather bumpy landing. On thanking the pilot for the flight as we left, he introduced himself to me as a Brit, down here fo a six month contract. This was his third week here and was still learning the local ropes. After six months he goes back to Blackpool.

No disrespect to Blackpool but there is surely no competition there!

As an afterthought. Today I left Livingstone in Zambia. Twelve months ago - according to blip - I was working in Livingston, Edinburgh!
