there are many benefits to the kids being away. There's the peace and quiet, there's being able to eat chocolates without having to hide your head in the cupboard and destroy the evidence and then there's being able to take a nice hot bubbly bath in the early evening without being constantly interrupted by requests for food, the need to wash small grubby hands and the need to access the taps so that water balloons can be filled and then thrown at your sibling IN THE KITCHEN
