great - transco have decided it will take them 7 months to dig the main road up outside of the flats. The keywords here being main and 7. Come one, really do you need that long, there is now way for me to avoid these works so I now have to sit in traffic (or use my bike)

even better news, I came home last night to a letter telling me as part of these works they will have to renew the supply to the flat - so I get holes drilled in the wall - joy.
