New National Forest

I have started this new work although it has its roots back in 2005 when I did three images for my degree show on the same subject albeit in a slightly different vein. I thought it would be useful to return to an area I haven't had any contact with since '05 and see how it was moving on.

I found it interesting in that my previous viewpoints had become more difficult to photograph without reference back to the previous images. The trees had grown and 'eaten' the viewpoint.

So I am now engaging with the three counties in a straight topographical that moves back more inline with the original series and away from the painterly Shining Cliff Woods work I have undertaken recently.
