Tanner and James
The twenty-fourth year of my life began today.
Waking up, I felt neutral towards the significance of this day. I drove to school to write an exam on algorithmic optimization and computer arithmetic. Each year I end up writing exams on my birthday - this exam had the honor of also falling on a Saturday.
With my mind still consumed by equations and proofs, I put film into my SLR and hopped on a train to the city centre. Wandering along not-too-particular streets I had time for introspection - of my life, my goals, my future. Do I make this sound profound and poetic? It was hardly either.
I met Tanner and James practicing Parkour in a park surrounded by large buildings made of glass and steel.
