A Parliament of Rooks

There seems to be a lot of rooks hanging about at Ogmore by Sea. They congregate on the grass and sit on the rocks on the beach. I love corvids but have never noticed so may rooks here before, at our beach (Llantwit Major) I see only crows. Not sure why the different varieties like certain places but there must be something that attracts them.
