Mags and I have spent the day doing free Festival stuff, we are both too skint to see anything much so we're improvising (no, no, not busking! Just using what we do have in a more frugal way...) We had planned to pay actual money to see the David Mach exhibition but then the best bit was right there to see free of charge! So we reckoned with the money we'd saved from that we could afford to go to the Pleasance and have a beer and then go see some free comedy.

The festival on a budget isn't brilliant, but it is possible!
