Long Lost Daughter

I took the son-in-laws car to the garage this morning to have a new gear stick put in (the knob kept falling off whilst they were driving).
On the phone ......... 1 hour
On arrival 1 - 1.1/2hours.
2.3/4 hours later I was handed back the keys.
Just as well I had my laptop with me and I was able to get some stuff down for the talk I am doing tomorrow morning.

The Cygnet was making pig faces at lunchtime.

This afternoon our long lost daughter turned up with her American boyfriend and she took SWMBO, myself, the Cygnet and Bags (formally known as daughter) out for diner.
Very nice of her and these was lots of fun and laughter.

She isn't really our daughter ...... she is a friend of Bags (formally known as daughter) who we took in when her loony mother threw her out when she was only just 16.
She stayed with us until they both finished school and went off to university.
Now she works in Saudi as a nurse.
