making acquaintances

This is Aida.

She lives on my street in the house that she and her husband built 60 years ago.

I have nodded my head in passing several times but I have not spoken to her at any lengths before. Today though, I had a chat with her. She invited me into her garden where I took the blip.

Aida grows a lot of her own vegetables and she gave me a few lettuces to take home. She also grows some fabulous looking poppies which may well feature in future blips.
