Shabby chic

Last Saturday I noticed this old villa for the first time. I must have driven past it hundreds of times but have never noticed its character before. I made a mental note to take a photo of it at some point.

This evening, driving home, the low winter sun streaming over the mountains I knew the light would be in a pretty good direction for the villa-shot.
