I went to the Legion of Honor today to see the Annie Leibovitz exhibit. The ones of the Queen were very nice, in my opinion. I liked the outdoor portrait because I was intrigued by the lighting on her face while being backlit by the sunset. Seeing it in a large format like it was a classical oil painting really caught me. Maybe it's the queen in me. I also liked the way Leibovitz matched the tones of the Queen's gowns to the surrounding. Interesting...

I also bought Susan Sontag's On Photography, looking forward to sharing snippets from it.
