A Pug Walk!
Today has been MUCH better than yesterday. We started off the day with a REALLY long walk with my gorgeous pug friends Rolo One Eye and Buttons the Princess! But look who is with them........the last time I saw them their mum had a GIANT swollen tummy and now they have a baby human sister called Esme!
At first I didn't even realise Esme was there. She was strapped into a lovely carrier on her mum and was sooooo quiet I didn't realise she was there! I wonder if there is a carrier like that for puppy's like me?! It looks a cool way to travel ;-)
We had a GREAT time. I showed them my secret field. Their mum has lived here all her life and didn't know it was there, so I was very chuffed that I had shown her somewhere! That is how secret it is you see!
I LOVE Rolo. I kiss him ALL the time. It was very hard to get us to pose for the picture because as soon as I am near Rolo I just want to kiss him! and I roll over for him, normally I only do this with doggies that are bigger than me! Rolo is very loving and a fun guy. They are both funny because mum throws my ball for me and they both run after it but then they don't know what to do with it! So I pick it up and run back with it! *giggle* they are a bit silly!
We came back through the woods. It is very difficult for me to concentrate on mum's chicken holler in the woods. I tend to get this thing mum calls "selective hearing" I run and run, following all the scent trails and all the while she is chicken hollering but I just can't go back, I can't. It is too good in the woods. This is why mum doesn't take me there much anymore!
Esme was a very very good little sister. We didn't hear a peep from her the whole time. She slept through everything, even mum's chicken holler! I thought she might have wanted a chase of the ball or a piece of chicken but she just wasn't interested! Very strange...... ;-)
I have had another gorgeous walk with mum along the sea wall this afternoon and played in and out of the pools. I also did some brilliant retreives of my ball from the long grasses. Mum throws it in so I can't see it and I have to search it out with my nose. All she can see is my waggy tail. I LOVE this game. It is what I am made for :-)
Bye for now
