Let them eat cake

I had a walk to the High Pond today for the first time in over 6 weeks. It was quiet - I only saw 2 dab chicks and some swallows, but it was lovely to be back there. Unfortunately, either I've got a setting wrong on my camera (highly likely) or there is something wrong with it because all the photos came out grainy.

This is the best of today's photos. I'd like to tell you that I made the cake, but it was John. We go on a family holiday tomorrow - 20 of us spanning 4 generations. This cherry cake will probably last for one coffee break!

I'm not sure when I'll be able to blip next, but I'll be back!
