Pretty Shells

We have a black garbage bin out on our terrace. I put the smelly garbage and dirty nappies in it until the bag is full and ready to take out to the trash. There was a half full bag in there which I forgot to take out before leaving for Portugal... where is this leading? MAGGOTS! I had the most disgusting job today of taking out the trash and cleaning our trash bin. I won't forget to take out the trash ever again.

I did consider using my macro lens and blipping the maggots, but I have my limits - washing a dead beetle is about as far as I will go.
