as a back up plan I Blipped me lunch, again.
also took a nice BLip of the railway station but the iPhone went haywire and I lost it (the photo not my rag with the phone)
planned to go up a fell and Blip the sun setting behind Solway Firth but it didnt seem to be the best weather for that.

So

as Mrs Commentary was dishing up me tea I rushed into the garden in search of something photogenic.
Hosepipe? Nah, been done to death
Metal hinge on shed door? - could do but its a 2008 model not 1908 - too modern
Tomatoes growing? Bit puny and still green - too little contrast in that scene.
Mrs C's minging rain soaked ashtray of stubs ? Perfectos

No time for tripod so had to go to 800 hence the noise - thousand apol's will try to keep it down a bit in the future.
