Slugs!

My Grandad has the most fantastic garden. He grows almost every fruit and vegetable that are possible to grow in this kind of climate. He loves it, its his life! Yesterday he noticed some slugs and decided to put a plate of beer and sugar down to kill them.
NEVER USE SLUG PELLETS! Especially over here in Guernsey, because when the hedgehogs come along and eat them, it kills them too!
So never EVER use pellets! Just a little saucer with a bit of beer and sugar, and that will get rid of them in a hedgehog friendly way!
Anyway, this is all the mess from the slug's slime!
