Fennel

The fennel in the herb patch is taking over. I will dig it up once I have collected the seeds and harvest the bulb. Today feels like we are winding down the summer and gearing up for the slow arrival of autumn. It's probably just because Nick returns to work tomorrow and the children go back to school on wednesday - the cottage will be oh so quiet and I will miss them all.
