Lewes Castle
Had a late evening trip to the allotment to pick raspberries and then went for a walk around the Lewes Railway Land nature reserve which I hadn't visited before. The outline of Lewes Castle is often lost amongst the town's other buildings so I was surprised to find this uninterrupted view. The original castle was built in 1069. The castle is unusual in having two mottes although the second (Brack Mount) can't be seen from this view.
