Taking Tallinn in your hand

The 'cultural kilometre' along the formerly closed (during Soviet period) sea front of Tallinn can take some time if you have time to spare. My daughters caught me perfectly in their hands as we clambered on the decaying Linnahall.

The potential for this short piece of sea shore to become something really special for the people of Tallinn with a little bit of thought. We had a great time exploring 'alternative Tallinn' and the new seaplane museum (under construction - see http://www.meremuuseum.ee) is going to be a fabulous new attraction.

The risk is that some private developers come in and build yet more apartments and a private yacht harbour...fingers crossed the people of Tallinn reclaim the sea for the common good !
