victory monument

in bangkok, just off the victory monument bts stop. it's nothing too spectacular, it's western in style, and it commemorates a rather small battle - but it makes for a decent photo.

there's a nice blues bar near there in the plaza that i've been to once before - saxophone i think is the name. not sure what else is around but a big traffic circle, a plaza, and a great deal of bus stops.

raining again tonight, but hopefully for just a little while longer. i'm out for a bite to eat, then to pak chong in the morning.
