Afternoon ride

These horses were training on the beach when I was walking. They went a long way, and I think were starting to tire as they came back.

It was so lovely to be out in the sunshine. Still quite a bit of snow on the hills but most of it has melted round the city. Hopefully that's it for the year, fun while it was white and pretty but not so much fun as it went wet and slushy!

Very exciting day today - the portaloos have gone! They have been a feature of the street for almost a year, great when they arrived, but much better to see them go. But we did have a 4.2 quake last night, woke us up so knew it had to be at least a 4, haven't had many for a while, so fingers crossed that was a tail ender.
