5 p.m. Rye Lane, Peckham, South East London.
Lovely afternoon in Peckham. Yes, you heard me right. I bought a snazzy pair of new shoes (tips hat to the Clarkes Factory Shop) and viewing the inspiring and sometimes strange views of the local residents on 'The Wall' which is really a piece of plywood that has been secured to cover up the smash window of Poundland.
If any good came out of the recent riots, it was to show that Margaret Thatcher got it completely wrong when she said ''There is no such thing as society'' The coming together of local communities and people from other area's to help with the cleanup is a testament that all is not lost despite the course this current government take us on.
I took some closeups on some individual messages including this one from our very own Mayor Of London Apparently, we are still all in this together.
