Kayaking on the Merrimack

Risked taking my camera on a sea kayaking adventure today (we have previous here). Was expecting to go out on the actual sea, maybe the inlets around Plum Island, but instead we cruised down the Merrimack river - a big wide expanse of a river where a lot of rich people show off how much money they have by buying fancy boats. Still, it was fun, and great exercise (my wings are sore) but not much wildlife on view except for cormorants and the occasional distant osprey. I suppose it's unfair of me to compare it with kayaking in Pacific Rim, but I can't help it.
